DHA / June 2025
Izmir, Turkey — In an era where digitalization is accelerating in every sector, data centers that provide secure and uninterrupted information flow are emerging as the backbone of the modern economy. Considered as critical infrastructure due to their strategic functions, data centers play a vital role in the advancement and sustainability of technology.
As data demands increase exponentially worldwide, Türkiye, which acts as a strategic bridge between Asia and Europe, is seeing an increase in data center investments. One of the most recent and important developments is the new data center investment, a strategic project launched by Vodafone and Damac Digital that aims to significantly improve both regional and national digital infrastructure.
The entire design and construction process of this vital facility is being carried out on a turnkey basis by Serban, a global leader in end-to-end data center solutions and ranked 4th among the world’s best data center construction companies. Serban, known for its global standards in EPC+ (Engineering, Procurement and Construction plus commissioning) services, will serve as the main contractor of the Izmir Data Center project.
